Founder Brad Lamm is a Board-Registered Interventionist, and ARISE Certified Interventionist. The ARISE Intervention was developed by Dr. Judith Landau & James Garrett. The ARISE starting point is the belief that the family unit is uniquely poised to help develop, sustain & breathe life into the Recovery Message (for more info, see: www.LinkingHumanSystems.com). We bring our training and experience to bear to maximize the intervention process while minimizing the stress and turmoil often associated with traditional intervention.
The nagging fear of whether or not your loved one will enter treatment might be helped by cold, hard facts – numbers don’t lie – which tell us that more than 90% with whom we work, DO enter treatment as a result of our work. We engage. We don't give up, nor back down. We work to get serious treatment for the person who suffers so seriously.
Once scheduled, the intervention process will unfold methodically and with care. Intervention Specialists leads you through the process and offers our well-regarded AfterCare support.

The ARISE Model, (A Relational Intervention Sequence for Engagement) has many unique strengths, among them a very high rate of successful engagement. The well known and widely practiced Johnson Model, or the "Surprise Intervention" carries a distinct weight, and to the relationships between the addicted individual and the Intervention Network participants. The invitation of ARISE is better.

Dr. Landau, was formerly Professor of Psychiatry and Family Medicine at the University of Rochester. She is currently President of Linking Human Systems, LLC, a global research, training and consulting business, and LINC Foundation, Inc., an international not-for-profit company focused on helping individuals, families, and communities harness their resilience to enhance performance in their current life situations or to recover from trauma. James Garret is currently in private practice in Albany, NY specializing in the ARISE Intervention and treatment of individuals and families affected by addiction.
