I.S. AfterCare

In the simplest terms, the Invitation Intervention looks like this:

  1. Intervention Prep – including intervention network prep, treatment facility selection & insurance benefits work - all prior to inviting the addicted individual to join us
  2. The First Meeting - where we gather as a group, with the addicted individual, to breathe life in to the Recovery Message (the “intervention” as most view it)
  3. Treatment Plan – Generally Intensive Outpatient or Inpatient (rehab) - followed by AfterCare with the Intervention Network working the recovery message for six-months

Our AfterCare program continues the process of change, working to encourage subtle and not-so-subtle shifts in the entire system - the family, the friends and the newly recovering. A gentle adjustment in direction, over time, brings one to a completely different destination.

AfterCare equips the Intervention Network members with tools to experience recovery as well, while putting in place a plan for the clients return from treatment. We work to answer the questions of "what now?!" before they find voice.

AfterCare is the process by which the Intervention Group stays connected in a regularly scheduled basis to promote lasting recovery. Breathing life in to the recovery message is not rocket science, but a science it is. Practiced with determination and consistency, the work we do as a group is vibrantly life changing!
